By accessing and using DwellScribe ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

DwellScribe provides a cloud-based platform for managing home maintenance records, appliances, projects, contractors, and related information. The Service includes web and mobile applications, data storage, and related features as described on our website.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and will automatically renew unless cancelled.

6.2 Payment Terms

• All fees are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated
• Payment is due at the beginning of each billing period
• We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees

6.3 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. Refunds for subsequent billing periods are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@DwellScribe.com for refund requests.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that time.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DwellScribe and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DwellScribe SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DwellScribe and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
